⁹ People assault the flinty rock^(A) with their hands
    and lay bare the roots of the mountains.^(B)
10 They tunnel through the rock;^(C)
    their eyes see all its treasures.^(D)
11 They search^[a] the sources of the rivers^(E)
    and bring hidden things^(F) to light.
